Gene Meacham

I have just recently retired for the third–and likely last time–from the pastorate. It was my privilege to pastor First Baptist Church, Hart, Texas for nine years. Now having retired from that, I have more time available to return to an emphasis on writing. I hope to update my website and continue to write and publish at least three more books. Currently I am working on the third of a trilogy of books about our family’s mission service in Africa. It will be titled The Umtata House: An African Dream Fulfilled.
